ADHD Testing and Assessment

Session 1
Initial Assessment
Who: Under 12 – Only parents/caregivers attend
Above 12 – The client attends alone or with their parent/caregiver.
Duration: 60 min
Location: Clinic or Telehealth

In this session, we will conduct a clinical interview, administer an ADHD screener/questionnaire and advise you if a formal assessment is necessary.

2nd Session
Cognitive Assessment
​Who: The client attends alone
Duration: Up to 2 hours
Location: In Clinic
​
1hr: observation and interview
1.5hr: assessment
(varies based on age)
​
​The type of ADHD screener/questionnaire used will be determined by your psychologist based on what is most suitable for you.

Session 3
Treatment Plan
Who: Under 12 – Only parents/caregivers attend
Above 12 – The client attends alone or with their parent/caregiver.
Duration: 60 min
Location: Clinic or Telehealth

In this session, your psychologist will discuss the findings and suggest a treatment plan.
ADHD Treatment and Support for Children & Teens
Children and Adults greatly benefit from ADHD support and counselling. ADHD is a lifelong condition, seeking professional guidance is crucial for identification, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing support.
​
In children & Teens: Treatment can include early interventions for emotional regulation, behaviour support, counselling, play therapy, and family support.

Initial Assessment $350.00
Continued Diagnosis $1,400.00
After the initial consultation, we will advise you if the formal assessment is necessary. Should you wish to proceed, the initial session fee ($350) will be deducted from the total cost ($1,750.00)
