Skill-Building Adventures Through Gameplay
The Minecraft Academy at Discovery Family Therapy blends structured gameplay with social-emotional learning to create a safe, fun, and developmentally aligned experience for children.
Each program is run by qualified counselling practitioners and designed to strengthen: communication, teamwork, resilience, self-control, online safety and awareness while players explore, build, and problem-solve together in immersive Minecraft worlds.
Our programs use Minecraft Bedrock Edition, chosen for its accessibility, reliability, and suitability for group play.
Every session emphasises safe online behaviour, positive peer interaction, and practical skills children can use outside the game.
All programs run at Discovery Family Therapy, South Perth, during the January 2026 school holiday period.
