Discovery Family Therapy is a family-focused counselling and therapy service in South Perth and online across Australia. We are a team, not a single therapist, so a whole family can be supported by different practitioners who talk to each other. You are matched with the person who fits, and held by the team around them.
We support children, teens, adults, couples and families, often more than one at a time, so no one carries it on their own.
People do their best healing when they feel safe. We create a calm, respectful space and shape the work around each person’s readiness and needs.

Our counsellors are registered members of the Australian Counselling Association (ACA). Mel Tibbitts holds AHPRA registration and is the only practitioner able to offer Medicare and private health rebates.
Discovery Family Therapy is not a registered NDIS provider. We work with self-managed and plan-managed participants.

Yes. Saturday appointments are available with some of our practitioners, which can suit families juggling school, work and FIFO rosters.
