My Story
My favourite thing about being a counsellor:
I love meeting people at every stage of life. It’s a privilege to support individuals, couples, and families through challenging times and witness their growth and resilience. Every day brings new stories, perspectives, and inspiration, making my work both rewarding and meaningful.

What is unique about me as a counsellor?
I bring a wealth of global experience, having lived and worked on nearly every continent. This has given me a deep understanding of human behaviour and cultural heritage. I strive to create a collaborative and empathetic space where clients feel truly heard and supported. My dedication to continuous learning ensures I’m always equipped with the tools to guide people of all ages through their unique challenges.

What are my goals?
My goal is to help families and individuals improve communication and build stronger, healthier relationships. Over the next five years, I hope to see mental health support become accessible to everyone in Australia, regardless of language, location, or socio-economic status, so no one is left without the care they need.

Most impressive Achievements?
One of my proudest achievements was the work I led in Kazakhstan during the COVID-19 pandemic. Supporting over 80,000 employees of a large energy company through the mental and physical health challenges of lockdown and isolation in a remote field site was both incredibly difficult and deeply rewarding. It pushed me to find innovative ways to connect with people and manage mental health crises we had never encountered before, making it one of the most transformative experiences of my career.

One quirky fact about me?
I’m an avid traveller and photographer who has authored a fiction novel and a series of children’s travel adventure books. My passion for storytelling and exploration often weaves its way into my work, helping me connect with clients in creative and meaningful ways.
