What to Expect in Your First Physiotherapy Appointment
Your first appointment gives Whitney time to understand what has been happening, how your symptoms are affecting daily life, and what you are hoping to return to.

The session includes a comprehensive look at movement, health history, stress, wellbeing and current function. From there, Whitney works with you to create a practical plan that supports recovery, confidence and everyday movement.
A Whole-Person Approach
Whitney takes a person-centred and evidence-informed approach to physiotherapy.
Treatment is tailored to each person and can include assessment, education, movement rehabilitation, exercise planning and practical strategies to support recovery, function and long-term self-management.

Whitney has a strong interest in the connection between physical health, lifestyle, stress and recovery and works with people who want to better understand their body and feel more confident moving forward.
Physiotherapy that considers your body, your daily life and your recovery goals.
Make sense of your symptoms
Whitney takes time to understand your pain, movement, health history and what is stopping you from doing the things you need or want to do.
Get a plan that fits into your life
Your recovery plan is built around your body, your lifestyle and the things you want to get back to – work, exercise, parenting, sport, walking, driving or simply feeling more steady.
Build strength, confidence and control
Move safely, rebuild function, improve balance, reduce fear around movement and take practical steps towards feeling stronger again.

A Little More About Whitney
Whitney brings warmth, curiosity and a thoughtful whole-person approach to physiotherapy. Her work is person-centred and evidence-based, with a strong focus on understanding each person’s symptoms, lifestyle, goals and recovery needs so treatment feels practical, supportive and tailored to real life.
My most meaningful achievements
One of my most meaningful professional achievements has been completing my Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy and continuing postgraduate study in Indigenous trauma and recovery practice, mental health and medicine.
These areas have strengthened the way I understand recovery, not only through the body but also through a person’s health history, life experiences, culture, stress, confidence and sense of safety.
What makes me unique
I combine physiotherapy with additional training in trauma-informed care and mental health.
This helps me take a broader view of recovery and consider how pain, dizziness, injury, stress, fear of movement, daily demands and emotional wellbeing can all interact.
My aim is to provide care that is evidence-based, person-centred and practical, while helping people feel safer, stronger and more confident in their bodies.
One quirky fact about me
I am a bookworm with a strong love of lifelong learning.
I am always drawn to ideas that help me understand people more deeply, especially how the body, mind, culture and lived experience can shape recovery.
